Juvaderm Injectable Gel

Juvederm
Beauty, without restriction and in complete safety.
Your face may jowl over the years with loss of fat and your lips thin and retract giving you a sad tired appearance. Lipstick runs one look at yourself one morning in the mirror - the crow's feet in the corner of your eye, these hollowed out nasal furrows, the hollows under the eye with bagginess or darker circles which give you a tired look. You really do not like what is happening.
Today, you do not have to live with these changes. You can do something about them. You can be proactive to reduce the signs of the passage of time, heredity, sun etc. With some simple injections of Juvéderm®, minor imperfections and signs of aging are softened very evenly.
Juvéderm® fills nasal furrows and oral commisures or smooths moderate or superficial wrinkles. Acting very naturally but not irreversibly, your lips regain their sensuality and your face its smooth curves.
Juvéderm® UltraPlus is also an excellent volume enhancer which when injected into the cheeks, tear troughs and the area under the eyes will help restore your more youthful appearance.
Receiving the Benefits of Juvéderm®
Over the last ten plus years, hyaluronic acid has emerged as the miracle compound for filling in wrinkles and helping restore facial volume.
Hyaluronic acid is a substance which is naturally present in the dermis and maintains the hydration of tissues, becoming absorbed slowly over time. Injection of Juvéderm® is a replacement source of this hyaluronic acid, which declines gradually with age. Juvéderm® is a hyaluronic acid transparent omogeneous hydrogel which has four major benefits:
-
It is obtained by biosynthesis from bacteria and is of non-animal origin It does not require any preliminary test for allergy Juvederm is identical to one of the major constituents human lower layer skin Its hyaluronic acid content is currently one of the most concentrated on the market.
Juvéderm® allows immediate treatment and visual benefit.
A touch-up after a few weeks may further enhance the result for you and increase the longevity of the benefit. The effects of Juvéderm® usually last 6-18 months. The length of effect varies depending on the form of Juvederm® injected, the types of skin, areas, amounts injected and the injection technique.
The average life of Juvéderm® Ultra in the lips is 6-9 months and Juvederm® UltraPlus 9-12 months because of the high vascularization and frequent movement of the lips.
Allergan and Corneal put a great deal of scientific research into making Juvéderm® as long-lasting as possible by highly concentrating hyaluronic acid and adding extensive cross-linking, i.e a dense network of "bridge"- type bonds between different molecules of hyaluronic acid. The larger, more bound molecules are therefore more resistant than other forms of hyaluronic acid to degradation in the body.

When injected into the superficial dermis, Juvéderm® Ultra helps to fill fine wrinkles such as crow's feet or peri-oral wrinkles.
When injected into the middle dermis, Juvéderm® Ultra fills forehead wrinkles, glabellar lines, lips, mild naso-labial folds and cheek wrinkles.
When injected into the middle/deep dermis the densest version, Juvéderm® UltraPlus, fills deep naso-labial folds, returns volume to your lips, sculpts your cheeks and restores the oval shape to your face.
Years of research and development
Juvéderm® is the fruit of years of research from Laboratoire CORNEAL®, one of the very few laboratories in the world to have mastered the processes of obtaining cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Allergan is the US Distributor.
