Laser Genesis Skin Therapy

Laser Genesis Skin Therapy stimulates natural processes, which create vibrant and healthy looking skin. By treating conditions that are typically associated with aging and sun damage, both men and women will look younger. This treatment diffuses redness, treats fine-line wrinkles, fades acne scars and continuously stimulates new collagen production.

The Laser Genesis Difference
The Laser Genesis procedure utilizes non-invasive laser technology, which safely, naturally and effectively treats fine-line wrinkles, diffuses redness and fades scars. Patients can expect immediate results. This procedure is performed without the use of topical anesthetics or gel.

What areas can be treated?
Laser Genesis’ patients report excellent results over their entire face and neck. Additionally, the physician/esthetician may recommend this therapy to diminish recent scars on other parts of the body.

What is Diffuse Redness?
Diffuse Redness is a condition caused by dilated capillaries, resulting in an appearance of general redness. The most commonly affected areas are the nose, forehead and cheeks. Diffuse Redness is often associated with a condition called Rosacea , which can be hereditary. Laser Genesis will gently treat and reduce this condition.

What does the procedure feel like?
Describing the treatment as relaxing and therapeutic, patients experience a gentle warming of the skin’s surface during the procedure. Patients can immediately return to normal activities, utilizing sunscreen if outdoors.

How does Laser Genesis work?
By gently heating the upper dermis, Laser Genesis improves the appearance of wrinkles through collagen stimulation. Additional heat is applied to dilated capillaries to reduce redness.

What are the pre-treatment requirements?
Patients will not need gel, anesthetic cream or ice prior to treatment. Before the actual Laser Genesis procedure, patients will be asked to remove any make-up or moisturizers, and, in some cases, may be asked to shave the area to be treated. The physician/esthetician will review and assist with all pre-treatment requirements.

What kind of improvements can be expected?
Over the course of four to five treatments, Laser Genesis will restore the skin’s youthful glow and appearance. Although the individual treatment results are subtle, the overall effect of multiple treatments can be quite dramatic.

How many treatments are needed?
On average, patients require four to six treatments in order to achieve optimal results. However, each case is unique. For more information, consult the physician/esthetician.

What are the possible side effects?
Although most patients report few, if any, side effects, the most common is a slight redness that disappears within a few hours of treatment. Consult the physician/esthetician for complete information about the benefits and risks of this procedure.
